Fränkische Industrial Pipes

The Environmental Management Systems of Fränkische Industrial Pipes Königsberg, Hofheim and Czech manufacturing facilities were ISO 14001 certified in July 2003 and integrated in our existing management system.

The basis of the Environmental Management System is the environmental policy, from which we derive our environmental goals and the environmental program in all its detail. Fränkische Industrial Pipes voluntarily agrees to continuously improve environmental performance and comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations.

We share the concern for the environment and appreciate our customers' and neighbors' care for the environment. An honest, open communication with our partners, government agencies, authorities, institutions and suppliers is the basis for our work. New production lines and products are checked and analyzed for environmental effects so that possible environmental effects may be determined, reduced or even eliminated in advance. Conserving resources such as raw materials, power, water, compressed air and gas is top priority.

Our Environmental Management System, however, is only as good as implemented by our employees. Therefore we have developed a comprehensive environmental training program for our employees. Even our suppliers will be involved in the management system, will be informed about environmentally conscious behavior and qualified. In addition, we take preventive measures to prevent unwanted emissions that occur during malfunctions or breakdowns.

Eventually, all our measures are subject to a Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) that is practically verified for its integrity by environmental inspections and audits. Our Environmental Management System has proven its value over the last few years and continues to thrive. It contributes to make the world a world worth living in for future generations.
